Bachelor of Commerce: Current MUN Students

Current Memorial University students may apply for the bachelor of commerce (co-operative) program through the following steps:

Step 1: Understand How Your Courses Fit into the Program Structure

You may apply for advanced standing into Terms 1, 2, 3 or 4 of the bachelor of commerce (co-operative) program.

To be considered for admission with advanced standing to Terms 1 (fall), 2 (winter), 3 (fall) or 4 (spring), you must have all the program courses completed up to that semester with a sufficiently high average to compete for a place in the class.

It may be helpful to use the audit form to determine your best point of entry into the program. For example, a student must complete all the Term A/B courses to apply to Term 1:

Pre-Business Courses (Term A/B)
Term A (Fall) Term B (Winter)
Business 1000  Math 1000* or Elective
 Math 1090* or Math 1000  Economics 2020
 Economics 2010  English 1110
 English 1080  Non-Business Elective
 Non-Business Elective  Non-Business Elective
* Depending on your level of preparation in math, you may be required to complete Math 1090 and/or foundation-level courses in math as pre-requisites for Math 1000. If Math 1090 is required, it may count as three credit hours (one course) in non-business electives.

Further information on the program schedule can be found in the University Calendar.

Step 2: Apply to the Faculty of Business Administration

Current students of Memorial University should apply using the Admissions menu within Memorial Self-Service at by the deadlines indicated.
