International applicants interested in undertaking a full undergraduate business degree at the Faculty of Business Administration must follow the same procedures as all other applicants and abide by the same application deadlines.
Step 1: Choose a Business Program
There are three undergraduate business degrees to choose from:
All three degrees are AACSB accredited and have unique features, such as a global focus or work experience.
Step 2: Understand International Admission Requirements
As English is the primary language of instruction at Memorial University, all applicants are required to provide proof of English proficiency to meet the general admission requirements of the university. English proficiency requirements may be found in the University Calendar.
For more information on general admission to the university, including fees and finances, please refer to Become an Undergraduate Student.
Questions about international student admissions should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Step 3: Apply to Memorial University
International students must submit an application to Memorial University.
Please follow the three-step process located on the Office of the Registrar’s website to submit your application.
You may indicate your preferred business degree option on the online form or on Page 4 of the Undergraduate Application for Admission to Memorial.
It may be necessary for you to complete additional courses during your first year at Memorial University before being accepted or promoted into your preferred program. To understand the requirements, please refer to the admissions for each program:
For the bachelor of commerce (co-operative) or the international bachelor of business administration, students often apply for Term A/B or pre-iBBA, respectively, for their first year at Memorial University.
Students can be admitted directly into the bachelor of business administration degree by indicating BBA on their admission application to Memorial University.
Students are encouraged to submit their applications early, especially if they are also applying for transfer credit. It typically takes four to eight weeks from the time an application is complete (all transcripts and course outlines received) to receive notification of the results of the application. For more information about the process, please review Information for Transfer Students.
