Alumni Honour Award

First awarded in 1992, the Alumni Honour Award recognizes the achievements of graduates of the Faculty of Business Administration who have achieved excellence in their business careers and have contributed to the reputation of the faculty, university and/or the community in general.

The School of Faculty of Business Administration and Commerce opened its doors in 1954 and was granted faculty status as a reflection of the growth and diversity of its academic programs in 1981. Today, the Faculty of Business Administration is recognized as a leader in Canadian business education with innovative programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels including four undergraduate degrees, four graduate degrees and a diploma.

The Faculty of Business Administration’s programs are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International, a mark of exceptional quality in management education and the highest distinction a business school can achieve worldwide, and its co-operative education commerce degree is nationally-accredited by the Accreditation Council of the Canadian Association for Cooperative Education (CAFCE).
