Professional Accreditation
It is now possible for students to obtain professional accreditation in the international trade dimension of global business. Canada’s Forum for International Trade Training (FITT), a globally unique organization with whom Export Development Canada is a major partner, has established the Certified International Trade Professional (CITP). This professional qualification has quickly received international recognition and will soon become readily accessible to Memorial business students. The faculty has already been accepted as a fully-fledged corporate member of FITT and is in the final stages of becoming one of the small number of FITT accredited universities whose international business courses can be used to fully meet the academic requirements for CITP.
