International Bachelor of Business Administration

The international bachelor of business administration (iBBA) is one of only three such programs in Canada. Students enrolled in this 120-credit hour (40-course) degree complement their business skills with a global perspective by focusing on the development of cross-cultural skills relevant to a specific global region (eg., Asia, Europe, or Latin-America). The aim of this program is to produce business professionals who are capable of performing successfully across national borders and within diverse regulatory and cultural environments.

The iBBA program contains four key components:

  1. Core instruction in fundamental business skills.
  2. International business courses dealing with the various types of international business activity (e.g. finance, politics, law, and economics)
  3. Non-business cross-cultural skills that provide both a global and regional (e.g. Asian, European, or Latin-American) perspective. Typically includes study of a foreign language.
  4. An approved program of overseas study, spent in the student’s chosen region of interest. A range of study locations will be available in Europe, the Asian-Pacific, and Latin-America.
