Explore New Ways of Thinking

Do you want a career in research and teaching in academia or a research-oriented position in industry?

Are you interested in organizational behaviour, human resource management, information systems or operations management? If so, our PhD program will provide you with the background, skills and knowledge you need to succeed.

PhD students explore new ways of thinking while working with world-renowned researchers on projects of theoretical and practical importance.

At the end of the program, graduates will have made a significant contribution to advance theory and current practice in one of our two concentrations:

  • operations management (OM) and information systems (IS); or
  • organizational behaviour (OB) and human resource (HR) management.

Students complete two years of coursework that exposes them to state-of-the-art research in their selected area of study and prepares them to undertake independent, original research during the dissertation stage.
