Undergraduate Programs

Memorial University's Faculty of Business Administration offers three undergraduate business degrees, all of which are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) – the highest distinction that a business school can be granted.

Bachelor of Commerce (Co-operative)

This five-year program is perfect for students looking for work experience to complement the knowledge taught in the classroom. Our bachelor of commerce (co-op) students have filled work term positions in all Canadian provinces and abroad in countries such as the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Sweden, Ireland, the United States and Germany.

International Bachelor of Business Administration

One of only three such programs in Canada, this program allows students to balance their business skills with a global perspective. Students develop cross-cultural skills relevant to a specific global region and experience that culture during a semester abroad. This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in working in the global environment.

Bachelor of Business Administration

Looking for flexibility? Composed of the same core business courses as the bachelor of commerce (co-operative), this program can be completed at your own pace and has no work term component or work experience requirement. Students are able to complete courses either on-campus or through distance education as part-time or full-time students.

Each degree program gives students fundamental business knowledge and skills in addition to the option of specializing* in an area of interest such as accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, supply chain management, human resource management and more.

*Please note that specializing in an area of business is informal and will not appear on your transcript or diploma.
