On-Campus Housing

Living on campus provides a safe environment that promotes academic success and offers social, recreational and educational learning experiences. There are 10 traditional residence halls, a new residence that will house up to 500 students, an apartment-style residence as well as family apartments.

Off-Campus Housing

Memorial’s Off-Campus Housing Office (OCH) provides services to students who commute to school. Services include rental listings, information about the city of St. John’s and off-campus housing co-ordinators.

International & Exchange Students

It’s important for full-time international students and foreign exchange students to find suitable accommodations in order to ease their transition to life in St. John’s and at Memorial. On-campus accommodations are usually recommended as they are close to all Memorial faculties and facilities and are generally considered a safe living and learning environment.

Students who are only staying for one semester at Memorial, such as exchange students, maybe eligible to apply on campus residence during the fall and winter semester, depending on space available. Off-campus accommodations may also be a good alternative for some students.
