The Faculty of Business Administration’s Harlow program offers undergraduate business students the opportunity to learn and live abroad at Memorial’s campus in Harlow, England. Students enjoy a unique experience and the benefits of a study abroad program in a group setting. The Harlow program is normally offered annually in the winter semester.
A professor(s) from the Faculty of Business Administration accompanies the students attending the Harlow campus and acts as the program co-ordinator. The course program offers students the opportunity to obtain a broader cross-cultural understanding of the European environment in which they are studying. The program includes field trips and a number of guest speakers. Participants will stay in Harlow’s residence and attend classes on campus. The semester includes a midterm break, which gives students the opportunity to travel and explore Europe.
Up to 20 students may be selected from to participate in the Harlow program. The application process takes place during the spring semester prior to the winter semester in which the Harlow program is offered. Selection is limited, competitive and is subject to demand. Academic performance is a key criterion in selection and a waitlist may be activated. Students are notified of their status for the program by letter.
